Dr. Paul Gause has been a recognized leader in spine care for nearly two decades.  He moved to Phoenix after completing his training in orthopedic surgery and spine surgery.  He began practice with the Spine Institute of Arizona, already a leader in spine care in the Southwest.  Dr. Gause has received numerous accolades in his career.  He has lectured across the United States and on four continents.  He has been named a Top Doc in Phoenix fifteen times.  He is consistently the spine surgeon that other physicians turn to when they or their family needs spine care.  

Dr. Gause treats a very wide variety of spine conditions.  He focuses on non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments whenever possible.  Dr. Gause, however, is also one of the few surgeons in the region who will tackle the most complex spine conditions including scoliosis and revision surgeries.  Most importantly, though, Dr. Gause is methodical about assuring an accurate diagnosis so that the least invasive, most effective and appropriate treatment can be performed, ensuring that his patients can achieve the absolute best possible outcomes.

Dr. Gause is also passionate about the advancement of spine care.  He regularly attends national and international spine care conferences.  He has educated over 30 fellows in spine surgery and innumerable medical students.  Through research, education, and development of new spine devices and techniques, Dr. Gause ensures that the field continues to develop novel treatments to better the results of spine care and minimize the recovery process from surgery.
